The blind date she hoped to forget becomes her client
Gong Yeon-su is the eldest daughter of a family that places great importance on tradition and propriety. At work, she is an advertising-agency marketer; in her personal life, she believes love and physical intimacy should follow a particular order. Her family arranges a blind date with Dokgo Dal, who runs the sex-toy startup Loand. Their views have little in common, and the meeting goes nowhere. Production presentation · 2026.10.14
After a breakup, Yeon-su takes on a new marketing assignment, only to discover that Dal is the client. She must learn about unfamiliar products and how to promote them, while Dal is reluctant to entrust his business to someone with prejudices about what he sells. Product research and marketing discussions bring professional disagreements into contact with a growing personal curiosity. Official episode descriptions · Premiere stills

An unfamiliar business meets the familiar rules of home
The workplace reunion gives this romance a useful complication: the two leads have to produce results together, even when they disagree. Yeon-su’s attempts to find a way to present the products also bring her closer to understanding Dal. Their working relationship and private encounters develop together.

Other women around Yeon-su have made different choices. Her university senior and boss, Jin Se-ra (Park So-jin), offers candid advice about relationships. Her aunt Gong Mi-young (Jeong In-ji), back home after a divorce, treats her more like a friend. Yeon-su’s mother, Seo Baek-hee (Woo Mi-hwa), is also part of the family story. At the production presentation, director Kim Ye-ji said she was interested in the couple’s conflicting values and developing relationship, rather than the provocative potential of sex toys. Nam Ji-hyun likewise described a familiar romantic comedy built around an unusual subject. The bickering workplace relationship and the characters’ changing outlooks are central to the show’s appeal. Chemistry and comedy win praise; the setup remains familiar
In a Korean review, MTN’s Lee Hae-jeong praises the leads’ dialogue and contrasting screen personalities for bringing romantic energy to familiar scenes. She also welcomes the balance of comedy and emotion without overplaying the provocative subject. Her reservation is that the opposites-attract setup and the character contrasts are conventional.

Soompi’s P Talwar, reviewing Episodes 1–4, highlights the way the leads’ backgrounds have shaped their beliefs and the interest in seeing those beliefs change. She also praises Nam Ji-hyun’s comic timing. Talwar notes that the opening episode uses an extensive display of sex toys for shock value before the products settle into the show’s everyday setting.
